Treasury Supervisor
The Supervisor - Treasury will support the Director of Risk Management and Treasury Operations, and Manager, Treasury Operations. This position will also supervise and oversee two Treasury analyst in the department.
Preferred Qualifications: CTP certification and Supervisory experience a must
Oversee execution of forward, spot and option foreign exchange contracts and metals hedging transactions.
Review periodic reports which present performance measures, and evaluate them against standards.
The mitigation of FX risk and commodity risk is critical in minimizing volatility in the financial statements and providing stable costs for forecasting accurate earnings estimates. Support short term and long term capital requirements, including refinancing of credit facility and term debt.
Oversee debt compliance tests as mandated within debt instruments and credit agreements including responsibility for ensuring corporate compliance with terms and conditions of bank credit agreements. Compliance with debt covenants is critical as a violation could have a significant impact to the financial health of the organization.
Monthly internal reporting is required, with quarterly external requirements and SOX control compliance.
Oversee cash management banking and work to further financial institution relationships.
Oversee execution of investment and borrowing activities in accordance with corporate policies and guidelines
Proper investing of excess cash balances ensures cash is generating an appropriate return in compliance with the company's investment guidelines.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required. Minimum of 4-6 years experience in the Treasury services field.
