Sr Hedge Fund Financial Analyst: FAS
Large Financial FIrm located in NYC needs:
Senior Financial Analyst
Must have a minimum 3-5 years of FAS 133, FAS 91 software support/accounting experience
Responsibilities
leverage their strong accounting, finance, andfinancial software skills
provide end to end Middle Tier Accoutning , derivatives Valuation, to clients who to handle their internal/external Accounting for Derivatives requirements.
Handle new Client implementations
Participate with Client calls with auditors
Advise and liase on any Hedge Accounting issues
Review new client account and book setup
Handle more complex RC clients
Run all projects for new team efficiencies/controls
Mentor junior members of the team
Ensure NY Reporting and Cases are being handled accurately and timely
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of FAS 133, FAS 91 software support/accounting experience
Strong accounting fundamentals
Bachelors Degree
