Service Manager - Power/HVAC
Superior customer service remains the backbone of United Rentals, therefore your willingness and ability to provide this to each customer makes you a top-notch candidate. To be qualified, the ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years service and maintenance experience and a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience. All candidates should also have an understanding of specialty engineered products and services, including a variety of diesel generators, pumps, chillers, air-conditioners, heaters, and dehumidification equipment. We also require intermediate to advanced diagnostic and repair skills for mechanical, hydraulic diesel and pneumatic systems, a basic understanding of business management, strong motivational and leadership skills, and the ability to multi-task. A valid driver's license is required.

Diligent attention to safety is required as is certification in CPR and First Aid, and IVES Certification for boom trucks and forklifts. Knowledge of proper hydraulic and pneumatic testing procedures is preferred. We also require a basic understanding of business management, strong motivational and leadership skills, the ability to multi-task, and basic computer skills particularly with Microsoft Excel. Candidates should have a high school diploma or the equivalent and Welding school certification for Arc, MIG, and TIG. A valid driver's license is required.
