SUMMARY
The new Senior Recruiter will focus his or her energy on expanding our executive search division. This important new hire will be a direct contributor to our overall business and serve as a key asset to the continual development of our agency. Specifically, the Senior Recruiter will assist the President by performing the following tasks: Research, develop, contact, and update candidate target list for all searches. Provide research and background information on current and prospective clients and positions. Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing candidates; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements. Lead role in the development of job descriptions, candidate profiles, contact reports and business development collateral. Maintain, update and expand internal database system RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Recruiter will be responsible for assisting in all executive search functions including, but not limited to, the following: Creation and delivery of correspondence, candidate profiles and status reports to client. Maintaining contact management software. Write complete and detailed search assignments (client engagement documents), ensuring an understanding of job duties responsibilities and business requirements. Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements. Interview all candidates presented for detailed interviewing and include the use of face-to-face behavioral-based interviewing methodologies, as appropriate. Perform detailed reference checking and/or reference analysis on selected candidates and reviews results with President and agency's clients, as assigned. Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices. Daily canvassing of the sports and entertainment industry - and other related industries - for prospective new clients and candidates. Develop strategies to increase the awareness, market presence and eventual out-growth of executive search division. Manage intern program by conducting orientations; scheduling rotations and assignments; monitoring intern job contributions; coaching interns. Participating in meetings and executing assignments, as necessary, with other divisions within the company. Any other tasks, as assigned by the President to support the overall goals of this company.
EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES
Must have a solid understanding of the sports and entertainment industry as well as key personnel associated with such organizations. Must be able to manage competing demands, accept criticism and constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible. Knowledge and extensive past use of a server-based applicant tracking system, preferably Taleo. Excellent project management, writing, and oral communication skills are required. Ability to present new recruiting concepts to executive management team. Demonstrated ability to command the attention and respect of senior level executives. Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad/deep range of positions. Demonstrated ability to function/recruit on a national, multi-location level. Ability to travel as required. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills. Must be Internet savvy and experienced in mining online databases and multitude of social networking sites QUALIFICATIONS:
Three (3) to five (5) years experience in executive recruiting and/or human resources function. Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree, preferably in business, human resources, psychology, sociology, or related fields. Tremendous work ethic and a passionate interest in pursuing a career in recruiting/human resources. Superior phone skills, interviewing skills, and excellent people person. Superior communication skills, collaborative with strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics. Rigorously detail-oriented. Highly organized and regimented with proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Critical thinker and problem solver. Willingness and ability to work long hours, including holidays and weekends as required.
