Senior Manager of Financial Reporting
Responsibilities:
Directly responsible for coordination and preparation of SEC filings, including:
Periodic reports (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K)
Public offerings (S-11, supplements and amendments)
XBRL taxonomy and tagging
Pro forma financial statements
Recognize, research and resolve SEC reporting and general accounting issues
Liaise with accounting and internal reporting staff as required
Assess the impact of new accounting standards and assist in the development of related implementation strategies
Provide ad-hoc analysis in support of senior management initiatives
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement change initiatives
Requirements:
8-10 years relevant work experience
Mixture of public/private experience ideal. Public experience must be “Big 4” or large regional CPA firm. Private experience must involve SEC reporting responsibilities for a public company.
BS/BA in Accounting a must
CPA a must
Ability to manage staff, as required
Knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations and filing requirements
Must be able to meet numerous deadlines under tight time constraints
Should possess the following attributes: Team player, commitment to excellence, willingness to get the job done, ability to work independently, “hands on”
Strong analytical/technical skills
Excellent writing and verbal skills – need to be able to draft SEC filings
