Our client is looking for candidates with 1-3 years of experience in the security field. As well as experience in: • Knowledge of information security and computer networking technologies • Intrusion Protection System technology • Basic understanding of Security Incident Response • Basic understanding of Web Application vulnerability scanning techniques and processes • Basic understanding of SIEM Technology • Performing security reviews of multiple platforms like Active Directory, Windows 2008, and AIX (UNIX) • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities: • Provide day-to-day support of our Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) • Perform security reviews of our server environment • Assist in resolving IT security incidents • Assist with filing of approved corporate standard relief forms • Assist with performing web application vulnerability scanning and remediation activities • Perform weekly SPAM reporting metrics for manager review • Assist with IT Security related projects. • Assist with the performance and documentation of SOX controls
