Utility Person
Clean and sanitize tanks and pots to prepare them for future production.
Interface with Compounding and Packing teams to improve the overall efficiency of the operation.
Use floor scrubbers to keep production area clean.
Dispose of trash & empty drums.
General plant housekeeping.
Other duties as assigned by supervision.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience driving a forklift required.
Some lifting of empty drums required.
Experience in manufacturing environment a plus.
Ability to read, write, and speak English at a level needed to interact with other employees.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk and sit sometimes for extended periods. The employee is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. Must be capable of physically standing and capable of lifting/carrying 50 lbs. and moving 55 gal. drums repetitively during an 8 -12 hour work shift/consistently for a 40 – 55 hour work week.
