Summary: Nets Basketball seeks a Research & Database Marketing Manager located in East Rutherford, New Jersey. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter with an unparalleled work ethic and desire to be the best. The Research & Database Marketing Manager will assist the Director of Research & Database Marketing in developing, analyzing, and maintaining all research/direct marketing/interactive systems and information for the Nets/Brooklyn and all of its operating properties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Develop, manage and implement team research, direct marketing and interactive initiatives focused on building strategy that directly impacts sales. Efforts include the management and implementation of all research, direct marketing and interactive initiatives across the company on the Team and Brooklyn sides. Duties include but are not limited to: o Work in partnership with the Ticket Sales Team and Corporate Sales Team to maximize revenue generating opportunities that supports renewals, new sales and retention programs. o Work in connection with the Finance Team to measure ROI. o Work with Interactive Marketing Team and agency to execute interactive marketing projects. o Assist in developing qualitative/quantitative research projects. o Assist in utilizing research/database information as an integral part of the daily operation for all properties of Nets/Brooklyn. o Use Ticketmaster database system to analyze customer trends, ROI and segment data. o Assist in developing and maintaining all research/database applications of Nets/Brooklyn. o Assist in developing internal offline and online market research projects of Nets/Brooklyn. o Assist in developing direct mail, telemarketing and email campaigns using the database. o Help manage direction of and including brand creative, traffic analysis and data collection. o Participates in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelors degree required 4+ years of market research and database experience preferred Technically proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) Knowledge of statistical software solutions, i.e. Scarborough, Survey Software preferred Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies Knowledge of Ticketmaster Archtics system preferred Basic understanding of Nielsen ratings applications and systems Strong analytical skills Excellent written and oral skills Strong team work skills Strong time management and organizational skills Must work independently and self-motivate Being able to think outside the box
