Quality Assurance Analyst
The Quality Assurance Analyst will lead testing activities across FOX News Digital web properties. The ideal candidate is energetic and detail oriented and has a strong desire to learn on the job. Experience working with websites (including Content Management Systems) and an interest and passion for learning to be a part of a website development lifecycle (including requirements, design, development, testing and launch) is a must, while the technical aspects of the positions will be learned on the job. Responsibilities include: ? Working closely with Development, Project Management, and Product Management during the project lifecycle to ensure that the end result meets the business requirements and a high quality product is delivered. ? Analyzing and testing FOX News Digital websites during the testing phase to ensure the systems meets clients business requirements. ? Documenting and tracking issues and test results based on business requirements. ? Reporting findings constructively to development team and to management. ? Providing complete testing report upon completion of testing cycle ? Creating, executing, and maintaining test cases that ensure sufficient and accurate testing coverage of the websites. ? Ensuring systems outages and problems are reported immediately and assisting where necessary to troubleshoot production issues. ? Escalating issues / risks as necessary. ? Suggesting and recommending new ideas and improves existing processes ? Providing training support as necessary.
Essential Skills and Experience: ? Spanish speaking ? 1-2 years experience with web based applications ? Ability to analyze and reproduce issues ? Strong communication skills ? Experience working collaboratively with project teams ? Demonstrated ability to work independently ? Automated testing tools EOE
