This position is responsible for the sale of Qualified Retirement Plans to the small and mid-sized market through all channels of financial intermediaries, including banks, wirehouses, regional Broker Dealers, Employee Benefit firms, etc. We have over 500 selling agreements within these various distribution channels, to which you will have access within your respective geographic territory.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional who blends instinctive sales acumen, outstanding interpersonal skills, and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. To be successful in our Company you will need to be self-motivated, have strong technical and ERISA expertise, as well as possess extensive market knowledge. Having existing broker relationships in the particular territory would be preferable. It is imperative that this individual possesses outstanding public speaking and presentation skills and is well organized in their thoughts and actions. You must thrive on high volume and a fast pace. You are a market leader for Transamerica Retirement Services in this geographic region and you need to have a keen understanding of that responsibility.
You must exhibit the ability to motivate, establish trust and credibility quickly, and inspire decision through humility and candor. The ability to effectively manage resources is paramount to success in this role.
