Product Management – New Curriculum
Job Description:
Wireless Generation seeks experienced and innovative Product Managers to contribute their business acumen, product knowledge, and K-12 market experience to the development and execution of a ground-breaking K-12 digital curriculum product. Join our team of education visionaries, dedicated to creating a transformative curriculum product that improves student learning.
Responsibilities of Product Manager:
Work with a team of curriculum innovators, internal stakeholders and software product development teams to guide the curriculum product from idea to conception and launch, ensuring fidelity to the product vision and quality of final product.
Consult with stakeholders to develop product requirements and strategies to define product positioning and go-to market plans.
Identify and prioritize product requirements based on insight into the customer, market and positioning strategy.
Functions as product “evangelist” and subject matter expert.
Works with internal stake holders including sales, marketing, account management, product development, and design to guide the product to launch.
Collaborates with external partners to identify and analyze market opportunities and evaluate competitive offerings.
Ensure profitability of products; negotiate with vendors.
Tracks and translates industry trends into opportunities for product profitability.
Communicates customer requirements and critical product risks and decisions to executive management.
Requirements of Product Manager: :
Bachelor’s degree; Masters preferred.
5-7 years of Product Management experience.
Demonstrated experience with full ownership of a product.
Demonstrated experience exercising sound, leadership level judgment over each phase of the product management life-cycle.
K-12 education experience required; experience within a software development environment preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills; creativity and objective-oriented focus.
