Product Manager - Equity Sales & Trader Analytics
The Role: We are currently seeking a Product Manager to join the Equity Sales & Trader Analytics business based in London, to lead the development of strategy and functionality for Research Sales professionals, with special emphasis on building industry-leading workflow solutions for these player types.
The successful candidate will contribute to developing and marketing the overall strategy of the business and work with key stakeholders to provide compulsive workflow solutions and improve the discoverability and usage of key functionality.
Responsibilities will include: -Building and articulating a detailed understanding of the role and workflow of Research Sales professionals. -Working with Clients, Sales, Product Managers, Data Specialists and Developers to design a vision and strategy for building market leading workflow solutions, for Research Sales professionals and securing buy-in and support from sales and management. Providing clear specifications and project management for each of the steps, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to specification and that all development milestones are met. -Marketing development releases both internally to sales and externally to clients, designing and managing sales campaigns, collecting and acting on feedback and ensuring metrics are met. -Contributing to the development and implementation of the broader Equity Sales and Trader business strategy, to further Bloomberg's market position and increase revenues from equity traders and sales professionals as well as any other clients or prospects. -Providing leadership and direction to overall business, liaising regularly with clients, sales and R&D management to ensure alignment of development with client needs, sales needs and R&D allocation of resource.
Requirements: -Substantial experience and knowledge of Research Sales role. -Strong strategic, analytical and problem solving skills. -Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously and prioritize in demanding situations. -Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused attitude. -Advanced interpersonal and teamwork skills.
