Product Development Manager
Our Client provides high bandwidth connectivity solutions for business and carriers in the United States and Overseas and they are seeking a Product Development Manager for their Bergen County, NJ and Westchester County, NY Offices.
In this role, the individual will work with the Marketing Department to determine new product initiatives that will launch within the next year. This individual will handle the entire process of bringing new products to life including Product Definition, Initial Pricing, Internal Process Workflow, Operations & Engineering Impact Analysis and Resolution, Systems Needs, Technical Training and Communications.
This person will also track technical developments among Equipment Vendors and other Vendors as well as evaluating other Vendors from a technology standpoint.
Additionally, this individual will assess competitive service offerings and analyze relative positioning and how Customers differentiate.
My client is seeking an individual who is extremely ethical and professional and who can balance technology expertise with an understanding of the market and of Customers.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree At least 5 years of experience in the Telecommunications Industry preferably in a very fast-moving, innovative environment At least 5 years of experience in a Product Development role and in particular with expertise in Access and Metro Transport Technologies including Ethernet, RPR, SONET, DWDM and CWDM Experience and success in bringing products to market and a track record of managing to specific timelines and launch dates.
