Markets Segment Producer
Work closely with Executive Producer, Senior Producer, and host primarily on markets and coverage for news-based opinion show. Brainstorm and pitch ideas, research topics and work closely with anchor to advance stories, break news, and produce segments in studio. Research and book compelling, distinctive, and engaging guests. Whenever selected candidate books an interview, update system, book feeds , collect relevant video and have editors cut vo for segment, pre-interview guest and summarize pre-interview for anchor, make certain of correct spelling and pronunciation of guest names, make certain guest booking adheres to Network's policy. Write copy, adhering to host's philosophy. Works with Line Producer to produce the guest segment in the show rundown and call for elements in the control room while show is on the air. Communicate with Network's newsdesk editors on breaking news.
