Minimum QualificationsOpen to NYS Employees:

Candidates must be reachable for appointment on the current Civil Service eligible list for Food Service Worker 2;

OR

Permanent NYS employee in a comparable title and eligible for Section 70.1 or 70.4 transfer.


Duties DescriptionSupervises Food Service Worker staff in food preparation and food service activities, including planning and scheduling appropriate coverage; providing in-service training; reviewing work for compliance with established standards and schedules; conducting staff performance evaluations and initiating corrective action as needed; investigating and resolving routine resident complaints; preparing periodic reports according to procedures; requisitioning supplies and overseeing proper storage and safekeeping.
