Job Description
Prepares, seasons, and cooks soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food products for consumption by patients, employees, and cafeteria customers. Prepares recipes using a variety of kitchen utensils. Reads menu to estimate food requirements and orders food from supplier. May supervise other kitchen employees as needed. Variable schedule.
Job Requirements
High School diploma. Previous experience in a fast paced kitchen environment desired. Culinary school education a plus. Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
