Responsibilities: Café Busser
American Girl Cafe is located within American Girl Place, a magical retail and entertainment destination, located on 5th Avenue in midtown Manhattan where girls can make memories that will last a lifetime!
American Girl Café currently has an opening for a Café Busser.
Purpose of Position: ' Create a positive, memorable experience for girls ' Maintain beverage and dessert stations
Qualifications: ' Impeccable customer service skills, ability to perform multiple tasks under pressure and knowledge of restaurant work. ' Poise and positive demeanor required to qualify. ' Must be able to carry a serving tray/beverage tray ' Strength, mobility and dexterity needed. You must be able to lift a 50 lb. bus tub ' Ability to work as a team. ' Friendly and engaging communication skills are required for constant personal interaction with guests and co-workers. ' Basic knowledge of English is required
Experience: ' Experience in a high volume and/or fine dining restaurant is preferred. ' Banquet or catering experience a plus ' Experience working with children helpful
Must be willing to work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays; including evenings and holidays.
This position is a 5 day/30 hours a week position.
