Director -Emerging Markets: Travel
The Director, Emerging Markets: Travel is responsible for initiating and expanding revenue generating relationships with client CMOs (and other senior marketing executives) in the Travel category. This person will work to close business across the mobile, broadband and television platforms, selling AdWorks capabilities for advanced media targeting at scale. He or She will work closely with parallel agency sales teams in mobile/online and television. Frequent travel and personal contact is required. He or She will be a tireless evangelist for a growing portfolio of AdWorks media offerings and unique, 3 Screen media insights. The Director will ensure that AT&T AdWorks remains top-of-mind as a source for state-of-the-art advertising and marketing tools and insights.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. The Director, Emerging Markets: Travel will work in tandem with their agency seller colleagues to reach category revenue goals across the three major platforms.
2. The Director will work with other divisions of AT&T when their business needs include contact with CMO and other senior client-side marketing personnel. He or she will facilitate conversations between those divisions and key clients while ultimately owning the CMO relationship and ensuring that CMOs know AT&T AdWorks is the primary source for advanced marketing solutions and media insights from AT&T.
3. The Director will be the AdWorks ""Expert"" in their assigned category (Travel). This includes being up to date on key industry organizations and news sources for the vertical as well as important meetings, seminars and other events related to senior marketers.
4. As the AdWorks ""Expert"" in the vertical, the director will also be the collector of information and relevant sales points regarding the performance of past AdWorks campaigns in the category. For example, the Travel director will know the best examples of successful Travel campaigns and have insight into what made them especially effective for the clients.
5. The Director will also be the AdWorks ""Expert"" regarding competing media and insight opportunities across TV, mobile, broadband and 3 Screen research opportunities.
6. The Director will act as a key conduit of information, informing the product team about real-world CMO reactions to our product set and offering specific ways to improve our offerings.
7. The Director will work in a matter that demonstrates full teamwork and excellent communication.
8. The Director will manage their business expenses and ensure that all such expenses are incurred according to AT&T policy.
9. The Director, Emerging Markets: Travel will report to the RVP Vertical Specialists East in New York.
